A newly formed accountancy firm approached TA+ studio with a very precise brief: to provide offices reflecting the company’s ethos and a multi-functional client area.

Providing transparency, direct communication, simplicity and innovation were hallmarks of their offering to differentiate this fledgling firm and provide a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Office requirements were for a dedicated client space, two Director’s offices, a meeting room, and consultants open-plan area. Aesthetics were given equal weighting with functionality.

The core concept was to create a dedicated multifunctional space for visiting clients, directly linked physically and aesthetically but separate to the back-office area. The multifunctional area was not just a waiting area but an architectural expression of society’s values. The internal windows are metaphorical “eyes” creating a transparent connection between accountants and clients.

The colors and materials used create a comfortable, contemporary space reflecting the values of this young and innovative business. Ceilings finished in lacquer, accented by customized wall lights and polished concrete walls combined to create a space where clients feel at ease and part of a vibrant, professional team.
